This luxury Chess set has been hand crafted from fine premium grade Exotic African Padauk (Pterocarpous soyauxii) and Ivory Boxwood by the best master craftsmen of the world. The Red pieces are hand carved from "The Wood Of Kings", Exotic African Padauk and the White chess pieces are crafted from premium grade Ivory Boxwood. The texture of both woods is fine and even, the deep lustre of these hardwoods appeals to the eye, while cool and sensuous to the touch, which will ensure generations of enjoyment. The feel and weight of this exquisitely design set will heighten your Chess playing experience, beautiful and yet functional of heirloom and luxury quality. African Padauk wood is becoming a rare entity and as there are restrictions in the harvest and export of this wood.
